Halloween
Haunted House
We are planning to host a halloween haunted house at sweet acres on October 28th. This will be our autumn fundraiser. We need lots of people to help out with our tour of Dr. Frankenstien's house! Let Erinn know if you would like to help. We may even plan a trip to Scarowinds for research!
July Car Wash!
There will be a car wash held on July 16th at 10:30 am. We need lots of people to help so call Erin to sign up!
The car wash held on Saturday April 16th was a huge success (and a lot of fun), earning $110! A special thanks to all of our volunteers!

Horse Treats!
Here is the recipe for our Horse Treats that we are selling as our fundraiser.
I would recommend at least tripleing it.
Ingredients:
1 carrot
1 packet instant oatmeal
1/2 cup dry bran
1/4 cup corn oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup wheat flour
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Use a grater to grate carrot. Stir all ingredients in a bowl until well mixed. Using a spoon, place 1 inch circles on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20 mins or untill crisp.
***Have fun! Remember wrap it in colored saran wrap and bring it to your assigned places. Also, remember to bring a donation can along with your treats. Make it pretty and tell what the treats are for and the ingredients of them.
